You’ve Got Questions. We’ve Got Answers.
Whether you’re dealing with a serious behavioral issue, raising a new puppy, or simply want to understand your dog on a completely different level, you’re in the right place.
Here are the questions we hear most often before getting started.
-
Not at all.
Reactivity, aggression, and complex behavioral cases are a major part of what we specialize in, but your dog doesn’t need to have a serious problem to work with us.
We work with everything from brand-new puppies and happy family dogs to anxious dogs, reactive dogs, and complex aggression cases.
Some clients come to us because life with their dog has become overwhelming.
Others already have a great dog and want better communication, higher-level obedience, off-leash freedom, stronger reliability, or simply a deeper understanding of the dog standing in front of them.
You don’t have to wait until something becomes a problem to invest in your dog.
-
Our programs vary depending on your goals, your dog, the behaviors we're working through, and the level of support required.
Rather than trying to squeeze every dog into the same package, we use the assessment to determine which program makes the most sense.
If we recommend continued training, we’ll walk you through the options, what’s included, and the investment so you can make an informed decision.
-
Yes.
We offer payment options through Affirm and Klarna.
Affirm and Klarna, may allow you to divide your investment into payments rather than paying for the entire program upfront. Payments can be as low as $120/ month.
Eligibility, available plans, rates, and terms are determined by the financing provider.
-
Usually at the assessment you will begin to see results.
Every dog is different. So, overall progress depends on the dog, the behavior, how long it has been happening, your goals, and how consistently the training is implemented outside of our sessions.
Our goal is always meaningful, measurable progress. Not dragging training out unnecessarily.
Once we meet your dog, we can give you a much clearer picture of what we believe is realistic.
-
We believe good training should be fair, clear, and individualized.
You set the goals. We build the plan. Your dog helps determine how we get there.
Every dog is different, so we don’t believe in forcing every dog into the same training method. Our toolbox includes e-collars, toys, prong collars, slip leads, flat collars, food, praise, play, and more. We pay attention to what motivates your dog to repeat the behaviors we want—and what clearly and fairly discourages the behaviors we don’t.
Your dog’s personality, learning style, behavior, and response to training help determine which tools we use and how quickly we progress.
And we practice what we preach. Everything we ask you to do with your dog is something we’re willing to do with our own. We’ll never hand you a standard we don’t hold ourselves to.
Nobody likes a hypocrite. Not even your dog.
Want to understand more about the beliefs behind the way we train? Ask and we’ll be happy to answer.
-
Absolutely not.
We work with these behaviors every day.
You don't need to clean up the problem before asking for help. You just need to be willing to learn, be consistent, and have some honest conversations about what needs to change.
We’ve seen a lot.
Your barking, lunging, jumping, anxious, chaotic little psychopath isn't going to scare us away.
We got you.
-
Nope. Your dog isn’t going to forget you and they’re definitely not going to hold a grudge, for long haha.
They may be a little in their feelings after drop-off. New place, new routine, new people and yes, a little doggy bootcamp. That’s completely normal.
Within a few days, most dogs settle into the routine, build a relationship with us, and start having a pretty great time. They’ll train, explore, make new friends when appropriate, and learn how to navigate the world with more calm and confidence.
And when it’s time to go home? They’ll still know exactly who their people are.
-
A lot.
Training may include:
Reactivity and aggression
Resource guarding
Anxiety, fear, and insecurity
Deaf or Blind dog training and communication
Leash pulling, barking, and lunging
Jumping and overexcitement
Door and guest chaos
Recall and off-leash reliability
Impulse control
Household manners
Puppy foundations
Confidence building
Advanced obedience
Real-world reliability
And so much more. And sometimes the goal isn't fixing a specific behavior at all.
Maybe you simply want a dog you understand better and can confidently bring more places.
That counts too.
-
That’s exactly what the first conversation is for.
You don't need to diagnose your dog, know which program you need, or have everything figured out before contacting us.
Tell us what's happening.
Tell us what you wish life with your dog looked like.
We'll take it from there.
We don’t guess. We assess.
-
You wouldn't be the first.
Many of our clients have already tried group classes, private trainers, online programs, YouTube videos, or training on their own.
Knowing commands and being able to use those skills when another dog walks by, the doorbell rings, guests arrive, or life gets chaotic are two very different things.
We focus on real-world reliability. Not just a dog who can sit for a treat in the living room.
-
That’s the goal.
But “normal” looks different for every dog.
For one family, success might mean peacefully walking past another dog.
For another, it’s finally having friends over without worrying about what their dog will do.
For someone else, it’s sitting at a coffee shop, traveling, hiking off leash, hosting a Bills game, or simply enjoying their dog again.
Training isn't about creating a robot.
It's about creating more freedom, not less.

We make getting started simple.
At the assessment, once you choose your program, we’ll complete your onboarding, get your training resources in place, and schedule your first session.
Then we get to work.
